This site is going to be a home for some blog style posts I'm planning on writing. I currently work at YunoJuno as a platform engineer where I've been given some great opportunities to modernise the codebase. My main focus has been converting the existing JavaScript React code into TypeScript functional components.
As well as this, I have been looking into upgrading our front-end build tools. This is not something that needs to be done urgently - we use Webpack and it works perfectly well for us at the moment. Moving to Vite is something that I am keen to look in to - but converting a codebase of this size is not trivial.
